This checklist covers the questions that matter: Are they trained (NCCA or equivalent membership requires training, insurance and a code of practice)? Is insurance confirmed in writing? Is the quote itemised per room or vague "from" pricing? Who moves furniture? What method and drying time do they state? A cleaner who answers these ten questions well is almost always the right choice.
